Abstract   51 Cr release assay was performed to evaluate the antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxi- city(ADCC) activity of lympho-mononuclear cells from the peripheral blood of patients with stoniach, colo-rectal, and breast cancer by clinical stage. Chicken red blaod cells were used as target cell and anti-chicken red blood cell sera were made frem rabbit. We used the effector cell; target cell ratio as 10:1. 49 healthy narmal persons were chosen by age and sex match as controls. ADCC activity in 49 normal per ons was 44.0+-15. 9%. There was no difference of ADCC activity by age and sex in normal controls. ADCC activity was decreased in patients with stomach, colo-rectal, and breast cancer, comparing to that of normal controls (p<0. 001). A delcline of ADCC activity was well observed with increasing clinical stage in stomach cancer patients, partially observed in colo-rectal cancer patients, and not observed in breast cancer patients.
